TNT's Adoption Requirements:

Do we adopt out of state? Yes we DO! All members of the household human and canine must be present at the meet & greet in Illinois. You will be responsible for transportation home with your newly adopted dog. We are based out of Saint Charles, IL and have foster homes all throughout Illinois.

Everyone living in your household must be in agreement on adopting.

Must have approval by the Landlord or Association.

Adopters must be at least 21 years of age.

We do not adopt our dogs out to be livestock guarding dogs or outside dogs.

Must go through the adoption approval process by TNT before meeting our adoptable dogs.

We prefer resident dogs to be spayed/neutered. If your pet is not spayed/neutered you may be limited on which dog you’re able to adopt from us.

All resident dogs must be up to date on: Rabies Vaccine & DHLPP vaccine

Monthly Flea/Tick, Heartworm Prevention & yearly heartworm test
Once you've filled out an adoption app:
Someone will contact you by phone or email to schedule a personal interview.
We will call your vet to do a reference check. Please let them know we’ll be calling.
Once these steps are completed satisfactorily you will receive an approval email from us.
We do take multiple applications per dog and the dog you applied for may be adopted by the time you are approved, if this is the case we will send you an email letting you know. We are not first come first serve. If you are selected for a meet and greet with one of our dogs, please plan to adopt on that same day. We do not hold dogs and if you arrive to the meet and greet without all humans and canine(s) that live in the home you will not be able to adopt and we will move onto the next applicant. We ONLY accept credit/debit card as a form payment for your adoption fee donation.

What is included in the adoption fee?
All of Tiny N Tall’s adoptable dogs will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption (unless it needs to be delayed for health reasons, in which case you will sign a spay/neuter contract), up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, microchip with free lifetime registration, 4dx test on age appropriate dogs, a collar & leash, a Tiny N Tall id tag on collar, and a Tiny N Tall Rescue reusable tote bag that includes: a bag of their current food, a blanket, a bag of treats, any of their favorite toys, 30 days free pet insurance through Trupanion (you will need to call to activate), and an adoption packet with coupons, and tips that are emailed to you following adoption.
Heartworm Positive Dogs:
Dogs that are Heartworm Positive and currently receiving Heartworm Treatment, TNT. will cover all heartworm treatment costs after adoption. The adopter IS responsible for transporting the adopted dog to and from our partner vet office for all appointments. The locations we use are in Carol Stream, IL & Saint Charles, IL. TNT Adoptable Large and XL dogs:
All TNT adoptable Large & XL Dogs will or have received Gastropexy Surgery. This is an elective surgery that helps prevent Bloat, a life-threatening condition in which the stomach fills with air (dilitation) and twists upon itself (volvulus). It occurs most commonly occurs in large breed, deep-chested dogs, and the #1 breed it affects most are Great Danes killing over 50% of Great Danes who do not receive this preventative surgery . This surgery typically costs dog owners anywhere from $800-$1200. We want to give our our dogs the best chance at living a happy, healthy, long life with their new families!! Your application will stay on file for 1 year, there is no need to reapply.

Tiny N Tall rescues dogs in need from many areas such as, but not limited to: Out-of-state rescue partners, breeder releases, county animal controls throughout the state of IL and surrounding states and owner surrenders.

Tiny N Tall Rescue makes no warranty as to the temperament, or physical condition of the Adoptee, and cannot guarantee or make claim as to the breed or genealogy of the Adoptee. The Adoptee is being adopted AS IS. The adopting party acknowledges that although the adopted pet has received medical attention as well as temperament testing, TNT cannot guarantee and makes no claims to the temperament, breed or geneology, or behavior of the adopted pet, nor is the pet guaranteed to be free of any unforeseen illnesses, genetic or health defects. This animal is adopted in AS IS condition.

We make NO guarantee the dog you applied for will still be available by the time your application is approved.

We do not adopt out siblings unless stated otherwise that they are a bonded pair.
